Adbri is one of Australia’s pioneering construction materials and industrial mineral manufacturing companies, with many Australians knowing them formerly as Adelaide Brighton. With the global shift to the importance of sustainability the 2021 Annual Report was a crucial marketing tool to demonstrate their strategy and pathway to Net Zero emissions.
The Concrete and Cement industry is a hard to abate sector and with the growing focus on emissions reduction it was important to communicate current operations and how these targets are achieved. Designate was tasked with creating an Annual Report that clearly defined Adbri’s goals and targets with a focus on people and culture.
While undergoing a recent name change and rebrand, there was an opportunity to further develop a style for communicating how Adbri’s operates its businesses and communicates its vision and strategy. Designate created a range of detailed graphics and illustrations to clearly tell the story of the concrete and cement production processes. These processes were used to explain in detail how the business plans to reduce its emissions intensity and impact on the environment.
