As Newcrest approached a new decade, they were determined to improve their most critical digital asset from the inside out.
Designate partnered with Newcrest to design and deliver key investor communication and engagement platforms, including the annual report, sustainability report and the corporate website. By fusing engaging design with the latest web technology, Designate clearly and consistently articulated the Newcrest brand and business strategy — “Forging a stronger Newcrest”.
In 2019, Newcrest made a commitment to improve their website. The website needed to transition from an outdated user interface and cumbersome platform to an effective tool that engages and inspires both internal and external audiences. Newcrest placed equal importance on a solution that was both a best-in-class user experience (UX) and was underpinned by a robust technology platform.
Collaboration was key throughout the entire project. To collectively meet the tight timeframes, we combined waterfall and agile techniques to ensure every milestone was met and key stakeholders were continually engaged throughout the process. A series of content sorting workshops proved indispensable in this effort.
